Rescued Children Joining the Workforce - the Happy Life Vocational Institute

Happy Happenings

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples."

~ Mother Teresa

At Happy Life Mission, our vision is to equip children and local youth with valuable skills for self-sufficiency through holistic Christian education. That’s why we established the Happy Life Vocational Institute, where young men and women can learn a trade that prepares them for the workforce and empowers them to build a better future.

The makeshift building where we have the classes

In Kenya, job opportunities are highly competitive, and having a technical skill gives our students a significant advantage—whether in employment or entrepreneurship.

Hospitality

So far, we’ve focused on training in Hospitality, Welding, Plumbing, and, most recently, Nurse Assistance. These skills will have the students equipped to offer various services to society.

It’s truly inspiring to see young people we rescued years ago now finishing high school and stepping into careers that will sustain them for life. What a blessing to witness how far this mission has come!
