October aka a terrible month !!

Hello and welcome to life with Hannah.

Hi friends,

I wish that I had lots of nice and fun happy things to say but this month has been one of the most difficult of my life. This month I had to say goodbye to the best thing that ever happened to me, my dog Casper, and that was so hard. I had been in Nashville for 2 days when I got the news that he was deteriorating, and I flew home that same day to see him, which was most definitely a decision that I am so glad for.

I’m now back in Nashville once more, grateful that I was able to go home for that period but grateful that I get to be somewhere else, and feel sad somewhere where there is so much light and goodness around me. I’m trying not to put the pressure on myself, and allow myself time and space to write and be.

I started the month, however, in Cornwall, spending time with lovely friends, surfing, foraging, being. Whenever I get out of London for a while I’m reminded there are other ways to live your life, and other places that can bring you fulfilment.

I went to Leeds to see our friend Christian, who ran a Candle Making Scent workshop for me and Dora (@goldenhourcompany). It was so special having her share her creative process with us and give us the opportunity to make something for ourselves.

I had friends over in London from Stockholm, and it was so nice having them back in London, losing my voice and singing Kareoke with them.

I guess on writing this I’ve realised how many nice things happened this month too, amongst the pain. Hopefully more positivity and music to share in November.

Love,

Hannah
