Pastor Anna here — someone very kindly left a box with a nativity set on my desk, made of a non-breakable material, and offered to bring more to give to young children at Christmas. Unfortunately, there was no name on the box; so I wasn’t able to respond to this generous offer. On Sunday, January 4 at 3:00 pm, at Good Shepherd, the Rev. Anna Havron will be installed as pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Front Royal, VA.

On Saturday, January 17 at 2:00 pm, ordination service for Lynette McSpadden, who will be ordained as a Deacon. This worship service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, located at 2077 N Frederick Pike, in Winchester. Lynette will be serving as Deacon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Gathering music will begin at 1:30 pm. There will be a reception following the service. All are welcome.
