Update from Good Shepherd, April 28, 2026

Special Guest for Sunday School on May 3! - Social workers Michelle Smeltzer and Nichole Johns, from the Department of Social Services, will be talking with the adult Sunday School class about the Ministerial Fund, a joint benevolence fund, given from churches in Front Royal. How does that money help our neighbors in need? Who decides how it is to be used? What are the parameters for using it? What is the impact of distributing funds through the Social Services office versus directly from a church? Join us for this important conversation about one of the ways we help our neighbors in need.

The Ladies Spring Tea last Saturday raised over $400 to be donated to The Phoenix Project, which is an organization in Front Royal that provides help to those experiencing domestic and sexual violence.
