GREGERS HEERING PHOTOGRAPHY
Hi ,
I hope this message finds you well, enjoying the last bit of Summer.
You’re receiving this message because you’re family, a friend, someone who has expressed interest in/supported my work - or most of the above.
Since my first and only ‘newsletter’ was sent out more than 5 years ago, it should be obvious by now that I’m not a spammer… Thanks for sticking around 👌🏻
SINCE LAST…
A lot has happened as I’m sure is the same case in your life. I’ve become a dad to a beautiful little girl and much time has passed with me trying to be a good father and also being husband to my ever supporting rockstar wife.
I’ve also been lucky enough to pursue lots of exciting photography endeavors including exciting new commissions, experimenting and creating new personal work.
Photography continues to give me a deep sense of purpose and connection. To be able to do it is a dream. I’m beyond grateful to the many of you who keep inspiring and motivating me to keep the wheels spinning.
UPCOMING SHOWING:
ENTER ART FAIR, COPENHAGEN, AUGUST 28TH-31ST, 2025
w. SECHER FINE ART GALLERY (#18)
After not having exhibited work for a while, I’m super excited to announce I’ll be showing work at this upcoming ENTER ART FAIR in COPENHAGEN. The fair runs from August 29th - August 31st.
Thank you to Secher Fine Art Gallery for including me.
I’ll be showing select pieces from ‘We Crawled from the Sea’, a series of photographs made in and around Hulsig, Denmark, a very personal body of work.
Should you be interested in meeting up at the fair for a ‘private’ showing and hear more about the backstory for the pieces, please don’t hesitate to reach out - I’ll try my best to accommodate your busy schedule.
You can see more from the ‘We Crawled from the Sea’ series by visiting my website (button below).
WHAT HAS RECENTLY MADE A BIG IMPRESSION ON ME
There’s a lot but one in particular stands out…
Until a few months ago, I wasn’t familiar with the Danish landscape photographer Kirsten Klein. However, luck would have it that Klein appeared on my radar from an Instagram post kindly shared by Banja Rathnow Gallery.
By another miracle, it just so happened that Kirsten Klein just opened her biggest exhibition in Denmark to date (opened Saturday, August 24th, 2025) at Munkeruphus, Denmark.
Kirsten’s work resonates on a profound level as it does with many, many others and yesterday Munkeruphus was packed with attendees for the fantastic opening. A beautiful evening. Felt so grateful I was here in DK being able to go. Furthermore, I had the immense pleasure of meeting Kirsten in person and her radiating kindness and energy did not disappoint.
Do yourselves a favor and go explore the exhibit, it’s incredible. You can find link to Munkeruphus below.
**SEE YOU**
Thank you for reading. Sending you all good vibes and hope to see those of you who can make it to ENTER in just a few days.
❤️ Gregers
