Utah governor becomes latest to veto transgender sports ban by the Associated Press
Cox and his folks did the math, and there are literally 4 trans kids playing sports out of 85,000 kids in Utah. Here’s what he had to say about that:
“Four kids who are just trying to find some friends and feel like they are a part of something. Four kids trying to get through each day. Rarely has so much fear and anger been directed at so few. I don’t understand what they are going through or why they feel the way they do. But I want them to live.”
Note that Cox also thinks somehow doing ‘nothing’ about trans kids in sports is problematic and harmful to women. I’ll still take a half-win from Utah of all places.
