Happy Autism Acceptance Month!

alt text

April is Autism Acceptance Month. While it may be on the calendar as an ‘awareness’ month, that’s not what autistic folks want - there’s plenty out there about the autistic experience, etc. The community wants folks to actually listen to what they’ve been saying.

One of those things? Avoiding Autism Speaks. Here’s a round-up of posts about why.

Also, I know I excitedly shared about the possible $35 price tag for insulin… it’s not what it seems.

A reminder that the Democrats’ bill does NOT lower insulin’s price from $300+/vial & does NOT apply to the most vulnerable, the uninsured. It’s a copay cap for those privileged enough to have insurance. It’s a guarantee for PhRMA’s insulin profits on the backs of taxpayers. https://t.co/Duib0bDyBw
