A Mid-Pride Month "Hello!"
I’ve been prioritizing getting rest during this time, especially as I’ve been given a lot more responsibility at work. I’m still thinking through how to set these newsletters up, but I think I’ll move to a every-other-week publishing schedule.
If you have thoughts, questions, or concerns, please feel free to let me know!
Under the Banner of Heaven
Grav and I recently watched Under the Banner of Heaven, a Hulu limited series about a double murder in Salt Lake City that led to uncovering a lot about Mormon history and fundamentalism. The series is amazing and handles the subject well, especially considering that it’s based on a true story. As someone with a large Mormon extended family, it was really interesting to watch that as I started EMDR trauma therapy. If you’re interested in my thoughts, I live-tweeted watching it - mostly while inebriated.
