Patch Releases, Parallelism and Party in Berlin

Hi friends,

There have recently been a few patch releases:
  • GraphQL 1.4.2 includes a fix for field instrumenters playing nicely together (eg, GraphQL::Pro + Apollo Optics)
  • GraphQL::Pro 1.0.4 includes improvements for custom connection fields and authorization bug fixes.
This week I tried wrapping JSON-API with GraphQL ... in Ruby! Turns out, you can use "lazy_resolve" to run HTTP requests in parallel.

Do you have ideas for improving the onboarding process for GraphQL on Rails? We're having a little discussion on GitHub for ways we can make the adoption process smoother and guide new users into good practices.

Also, a new GraphQL conference was announced: GraphQL Europe, in Berlin this May. The CFP opens Jan 31, so put your thinking caps on! It would be fun to see Ruby represented there :)
