Positive COVID-19 Case (Wednesday Night Cancelation)
Church family,
We have been informed that Leah Allen tested positive for Covid-19, and it is likely that Ali-Anne has Covid-19 as well. Although Ali-Anne's test came back negative, the clinic said they feel sure that Ali-Anne is positive due to her symptoms and her close proximity to Leah. Leah and Ali-Anne started developing symptoms Monday evening, August 16th. They went in for testing Tuesday morning, August 17th. Both Leah and Alli Anne are at home in isolation and doing well.
We felt we needed to let the church family know for a couple reasons. First of all, we need to be in prayer for Leah, Ali-Anne and the Allen family. Also, we need to let you know in case you were in close contact with Leah and or Ali-Anne Sunday, August 15th. If you were in close contact with Leah or Ali-Anne and you develop symptoms, you should seek medical care immediately. If you were in close contact with Leah or Ali-Anne and you have any questions concerning what course of action you need to take, you should seek guidance from your medical provider or from the Mississippi Department of Health.
In light of these developments, we feel we should cancel church activities for Wednesday, August 18th. We are keeping a close eye on this situation and we will determine if it is safe to meet for Sunday worship.
If you test positive for Covid-19, please inform us so as to prevent any spread in our church.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at 601-757-4555.
Thanks,
Bro. Chris
