Christian Marriage Study begins August 13th!
Good morning, church family!
We are excited that the start of our 12-week study of Christian Marriage is set to begin at 6PM on Sunday August 13th. The booklets will go to the printers today, and we hope to have the physical copies available this Sunday, or the following Wednesday at the latest.
So that you can get an advance look at the study, and begin to prayerfully work on Lesson One, we have attached a PDF of the study guide we will be using in our men's and women's groups.
Note: we have also attached the version that will be used by the Youth and College groups, which has been edited to make it age-appropriate.
The lessons are not too long, and we encourage you in the strongest possible terms to faithfully do the following:
pray that the study will be fruitful for your marriage and for the church
prayerfully complete each lesson at home before that week's meeting (please complete Lesson One before August 13th!)
complete the homework assignments each week
communicate openly with your spouse about what each of you are learning through the course
It is our belief, and our prayer, that this study can inform your understanding of what Christian marriage is supposed to be, and ultimately change your marriage into the fulfilling, Christ-honoring relationship that it should be.
