April 2023 - Mostly Just Milk
Hello everyone!
Apologies for the belated writing. My partner and I are moving soon and the last month and a half has been filled with (ongoing) preparations. That also means this will be a very short edition of the newsletter, though I think May and June's recaps will be fuller.
The Safe Room covered BOTH Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk AND Milk Outside A Bag Of Milk Outside A Bag Of Milk. These are indie horror visual novels about a very depressed teen girl. We had a really wide-ranging and nuanced conversation so I hope you'll tune in.
That's it for self-promo.
In other news, EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK dropped on Steam. If you are interested in video games, or even experimental visual art, and haven't checked this out, you should! It's an absolutely radical, and deeply personal, imagining of what interactive art can be and cuts to the heart of things in a way few games dare to.
That's it for now! The May recap will likely be written from my new place and I hope settling in there will help me flourish as a writer. I promise I have lots of really exciting things on the horizon!
