Hi! Welcome back to Good Works Columbus.

  • Scioto Sweep Annual River Cleanup
Join us on Sunday, September 21st to clean up the Scioto River at the annual Scioto Sweep! We will have all the supplies you need including gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers thanks to Keep Columbus Beautiful. There will be 3 different groups starting at various locations. The cleanup locations are Scioto Audubon Metro Park, starting at Grange Audubon or the boat ramp, and behind the Fire Station. A limited amount of kayaks and canoes will be available for the river clean up by boat.

  • Open Streets 614
    Sunday, September 28th 12:00pm-4:00pm
The City of Columbus is once again putting on a series of Open Streets events. An "open street" means people traffic replaces car traffic, and streets become places where people of all ages, abilities and background can come out and be active. The idea is to re-imagine how we use our streets, putting people over cars.

Sign up to volunteer here. Help manage the "Roll Lane" where people will be biking, scootering, rollerblading, etc. Volunteers will be stationed at either end to instruct folks on how to utilize the lane and provide safety tips as they enter/exit, as well as assist with any pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Gay and High streets.
