Things you can do online

New Links

  • If you are a student, alumni, employee, community member, or any way related to The Ohio State University, please take this survey about bicycling on campus.

In Case You Missed It

  • Starting today, every U.S. household can place an order to receive four more COVID-19 rapid tests directly delivered to you.

  • Complete the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) survey on the environment, sustainability, and air quality. (8 minutes)

  • [National] Urge Congress to pass the E-BIKE act. If 15% of today's carbon-emitting car trips were made by electric bicycles (e-bikes), America's carbon emissions would shrink by more than 11 percent. The E-BIKE (Electric Bicycle Incentive Kickstart for the Environment) Act would offer a 30 percent tax credit of up to $1500 on the purchase of new e-bikes. It's time to build support for this exciting new bill that can make climate-friendly transport more affordable for everyone.

  • Mark up the Vision Zero Columbus map. Have a close call walking, biking, or getting around town? Do you know a dangerous intersection that can be improved? Help identify these spots on the Vision Zero map.

  • If you haven’t already, complete the City of Columbus Bike Plus Survey or share with a friend or neighbor. The City of Columbus has started the planning process to improve how we bike, scooter and skate – however you choose to roll – in Columbus. They’re calling the plan “Bike Plus” – and they need your help! (5 minutes)

  • Register to vote and update your voter registration. The deadline for voter registration is October 10th for the November 7th election. (5-10 minutes)

  • Stop Cassady Avenue road widening:

¬¬STOP CASSADY Ave. and 5th Ave. ROAD WIDENING Columbus is spending tens of millions to add traffic lanes to Cassady Ave, as well as 5th. Ave. ⋙ Studies show adding lanes actually INCREASES traffic volume. ⋘ This plan CONTRADICTS safe street design guidelines Columbus has previously adopted! Road widening and adding traffic lanes will • increase speed and lane-changing, increasing traffic crashes • increase traffic and noise • cut off curbs and make crosswalks longer • remove homes and front yards • demolish 3 apartment buildings during a housing shortage crisis IF THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT, CALL CITY COUNCIL 614-645-7380 TELL THEM YOU: √ WANT the planned sidewalks, bike lanes, and street lights. X DON’T WANT the extra traffic lanes. √ Request new public meetings to discuss safer, more accessible intersection design. Use the saved funds to improve lives in the neighborhood.
