Good Works Columbus: May 28, 2024

Bike the CBus, Bicycle Advocacy Summit, Zone-In Public Hearing, EXPLORE Act

Intro

Hi everyone, happy Monday Tuesday! I was off yesterday and so was the newsletter. Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend as we kickoff the unofficial start of summer. In case you missed it, the COTA board approved the ballot measure for LinkUS this fall. The measure will expand public transit with multiple bus rapid transit corridors, expanded sidewalks and bikeways, a 45% increase in transit service time compared to 2019, and several 24-hour bus lines. Vote “Yes” this fall and be sure to spread the word to your friends and family who may not be aware of the measure.

If you have an upcoming event or a link you’d like to share for the newsletter, feel free to send suggestions.
