Columbus Library - Northside Branch, Meeting Room 1

Join the Columbus chapter of Strong Towns for their monthly meeting and social gathering on the first Tuesday of every month. Strong Towns works to advocate for cities of all sizes to be safe, livable, and inviting. • Discussion on Transit and Housing with City Council District 7 Candidates
April 8th, 7pm at Daily Growler
702 S High St. Columbus, OH

A promotional graphic for an event titled "Discussion on Transit & Housing with City Council District 7 Candidates." The background features an illustration of a cityscape with purple-toned buildings and streetlights. Three candidates' headshots are displayed in circular cutouts with teal backgrounds. Below, a stylized illustration of a transit bus appears next to the event details: "April 8 | 7pm | Daily Growler (GV)." Logos of various sponsoring organizations, including Transit Columbus, Yay Bikes!, COWC, All Aboard Ohio, DRAC, N4MN, Strong Towns Columbus, are aligned at the bottom.

In lieu of our normal April meeting, we’ll be hosting a discussion on transit and housing with district 7 city council candidates.

The Columbus region is growing rapidly, and good transit and housing policy and implementation are critical to ensuring that that growth benefits Columbus communities rather than making life more difficult. City Council District 7 is home to some key transit projects and the transit-oriented development that goes alongside them. We plan to dig deeper into the candidates' positions on public transportation, housing issues, and ending traffic violence in the city of Columbus. Registration is free but space is limited - you must register to save your spot.
