Good Works Columbus: June 22nd, 2026
Hi friends, happy summer! There’s lots of opportunities to get involved this week. If you’re at ComFest this weekend stop by the Transit Columbus table and also be on the look out for volunteers gathering signatures for Our City Our Say.
Things you can do in person
Volunteer with Transit Columbus at ComFest
Various times: June 26-28
Transit Columbus will be tabling at ComFest from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28 at Goodale Park, and we need your help to build community bridges and connections!
We’re looking for volunteers to staff our table, share what Transit Columbus is all about, talk to attendees about how we work for the collective good, and encourage folks to get involved. You don’t have to be a transit expert to talk to people - just bring your authentic self and expertise on your experience!
Shifts are available every day.Sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/TCComFest
ComFest is a Columbus tradition - an independent, volunteer-organized celebration of creativity and activism and has been happening since 1972!

If you haven’t already signed, there are events coming up including ComFest. You can also sign up to volunteer. To learn more on how this will bring a much needed change to how Columbus City Council members are elected, go here: https://ourcityoursay.com/

Courtney Ingersoll was recently hit while cycling and is now in intensive care. The accident has turned her world upside down, and she’s facing a long road to recovery. I didn’t know her personally, but we were both student athletes while attending University of Toledo and from what I’ve seen, she’s an amazing person.
