Good Works Columbus: February 23rd, 2026

Hi friends, welcome back to Good Works Columbus. I’ll be off next week, but look forward to being back in your inboxes in March (when it will hopefully be warmer).

Things you can do in person

  • No Place to Grow Old movie screening
    Monday, Feb. 23rd 4:00pm

Join the Age-Friendly Innovation Center for a screening of the documentary, No Place to Grow Old, followed by a panel discussion with local leaders on how Central Ohio is addressing older adult homelessness.

No Place To Grow Old is an intimate portrait of the rising crisis of older adult homelessness through deeply personal stories of the lives of three older adults - a union carpenter, a poet, and a computer engineer - all struggling to find a safe and stable housing to call home

Things you can do online

  • Linden Green Line Survey
The Linden Green Line is a 58-acre linear park that will connect neighborhoods and natural areas along a 7-mile former rail corridor in Linden and Northland. The project will create publicly accessible spaces for walking, biking and recreation.

We want to hear from you! Take this 5-minute survey to share what you'd like to see on the Linden Green Line.

  • Zollinger Rd Mobility Safety Improvement Feedback
The City of Upper Arlington is working towards multimodal mobility enhancements and safety improvements on Zollinger Road from Riverside Drive to North Star Road. The City will be submitting applications for grant funding through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) as Zollinger Road has been identified by MORPC on the Central Ohio Greenways Plan as a roadway that could connect to the Central Ohio trail network.

As the City prepares grant applications for this future project, we invite you to take the survey and share your input on potential improvements, as well as any concerns or ideas you have for the project.
