Linden Community Center

Columbus Recreation and Parks invites you to the second Linden Green Line Community Open House. Join us for an interactive workshop to explore potential designs for the proposed seven-mile linear park connecting the North Linden, South Linden, Northland, North Central and Northeast neighborhoods.
Your input will help guide key decisions around park programming, safety and amenities. This is an opportunity to respond to early concepts, share what matters most to you and help shape a design that reflects the needs and priorities of the community.

Things you can do online
Tell Columbus Metropolitan Library to stop their anti-union campaign
Librarians and library workers at Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) are coming together to form our union. We deserve a voice in the policies that affect us, and we will use that collective voice to make our library system stronger, more accessible, and more equitable.Rather than respect the choice of a supermajority of workers, CML management has decided to oppose our union by sharing anti-union propaganda that is more typical of a for-profit company, not a public institution.

We want to hear about what you love about your neighborhood, what’s “missing” in terms of services and amenities and what you want your community to look like in the future to provide the framework for this plan.Protect the Big Darby Watershed
The Big and Little Darby Creeks are some of the most important streams in Ohio, and in the Midwest. The Darby Watershed is recognized as a National and State Scenic River due to its exceptional biodiversity and natural resources. The Darby Watershed supports rare species, enriches our communities, and provides lifelong educational, economic, and recreational benefits. But it is at a tipping point. If development expands without strong protections, we risk losing the extraordinary natural heritage that makes the Darby watershed so special. The Darby Accord has long been a win-win for western Franklin County, pairing smart, science-based planning with a vision for 25,000 acres of protected land and 5,000 acres of naturalized open space through conservation development. Now, we must honor that commitment. Protecting the Accord means protecting our natural legacy, economy, recreational opportunities, and educational opportunities - our shared future. Without stronger protections, we will lose the Big and Little Darby Creeks' outstanding ecology. Tell your local decision-makers to protect the Darby.
