Guernsey inflation rises to 4.3% as fuel and housing costs drive price increases

• Guernsey's inflation rate rose to 4.3% for the year ending June 2026, up from 3.9% in June 2025, reversing the downward trend since the December 2022 peak of 8.5% Fuel and light costs were the largest contributor, rising 19.0% annually driven by kerosene prices, adding 1.0 percentage point to overall inflation Housing costs contributed 0.9 percentage points to annual inflation with a 4.9% increase, driven by mortgage
