Leatherdyke History Presentation / Bootblack Social

We’re running it back on Wednesday, 19th of November, at Adrian’s Bar on Victoria Road (G42 8RW). We’ll be hanging out with some bootblacking kit to share from 7pm, but from 7:30pm there’ll be a presentation on leatherdyke history and theory by both of our Rowans (gee Bill!). This should be a slightly more chill social space compared to the bar nights, but looking at the numbers the post has done on insta, this might not be as chill as the first Adrian’s event. At any rate! Hope to see y’all there.

Bar Night

As! always! we are running our bar night on Wednesday, 3rd of December, at Game Over on Drury Street (G2 5AA) from 7pm till 11:30pm(ish). There will be NO FESTIVE MUSIC and NO HOLIDAY THEMING (well, at least not from us – we can’t control the bar).

Gear Swap

For our mid-month event on Wednesday, 17th of December, at Adrian’s Bar (deets as above), we’ll be running a gear swap for leather, leathercare products, leather accessories, kink equipment, boots – anything you wanna get rid that vaguely fits in the remit of both/either “leather” and/or “dyke”. More deets soon, but put it in your calendars now!!

Blog

We had our best attended bar night this month! Thank you all for coming; apologies if you had to witness me choking out front on that cigar (probably my last).

The various zines we’re working on are all coming along (aside from me learning typesetting for my one, which is in exactly the same state as two weeks ago). Bootblack Rowan has finished a first draft of both his sections of ANTI-PROTOCOL, but now I actually have to write mine. So help me god at least one of these things will be available by the end of the year.
