Bar Night

As always, we’ll be running it back on Wednesday 7th January, at Game Over on Drury Street (G2 5AA) from 7pm till 11:30pm(ish). We can all decompress together and have a nice long vent about any time spent with our respective families.

Leatherdyke History Night / Bootblack Social

This is back on for Wednesday 21st January, at Adrian’s on Victoria Road (G42 8RW) from 7pm till late as well. We’ll be doing a presentation on leatherdyke history, culture & theory as well as our usual bootblacking social space.

As promised, here is the research poster:

What a year that was, huh?! 2026 is also going to be bad most likely, but we’ll be here and we can all dyke our way through it together. In terms of internal planning, we’re keeping going as is on the bar nights at Game Over, but for the Adrian’s social nights we’re going to get more specific with it. There’ll be more actual bootblack education type things going on, certainly. Some of us are putting together a curriculum so if you’re a bootblack or want to be a bootblack, these socials will be for you.

I’ve got good news about the zines!! I bet you thought that would become a running joke, but no! I’ve got 25 copies of UNTITLED LEATHERSEX TRIPTYCH printed – just waiting to be stapled together. If you want a copy, they’ll be available on Wednesday most likely so bring some cash (which will go straight back into printing all the other stuff we need to print). We’ve also got first drafts of pieces from most of the admin team for the Glasgow Leatherdykes Zine, which will be coming February/March. It’ll be both essays and erotica, so there’s something for everybody. I still haven’t done my section of ANTI-PROTOCOL but I promise by the next newsletter this will have changed.
