These past weeks I…

• Joined a new company and that’s my excuse for not sending out the newsletter, which isn’t really a great excuse because I don’t work on Sundays. Anyway…
• The new company has been great, I’ve been learning a lot and not doing much coding, yet…But so far I’m enjoying it :).
• Attended emacsconf today and yesterday, and I wasn’t as organized as previous conferences, so I now have a browser full of open tabs and an org file with a few urls and little notes. It does help that they have an etherpad where people have been filling out with questions for the speaker and notes on what the talk was about which is great not only for during the conference but also after, so that attendees can review. It will most likely be better than my own notes, but not as personal.
• Bought and played a bit of Death Stranding and I’m enjoying it so far, I’m not sure if I’ll play this during the week because it seem quite a time drain, so I may save it for weekend/holidays if I can stay away from Cyberpunk 2077 :D.
• I’ve been thinking about the staff engineer role lately and this website is great to read more about this role. It’s what I’m going to be aiming at.
