Gil's week #202033
This week I…
- Was on holiday, didn’t do anything “productive” this time around and managed to relax properly.
- Took the gaming PC out and played a bit of: Minecraft, LoL, Vampyr (been waiting to get this from Humble Bundle and it came out this month!), and have been continuing to play Dead Cells on the switch.
- Bought a Samsung T5 SSD portable hard drive. I’ve been meaning to get one for ages and I finally took the plunge, it’s so small, my backups will be much more efficient, I may buy another as a mirror, but they are so expensive…
Great URLs
- FreshRSS, a great self-hosted RSS aggregator, I haven’t yet tried it, but I will be setting up my NAS with a docker image for this maybe next week, so I can move away from newsblur. Now that I have a good list of feeds I’m subscribed to.
- Gitlab’s handbook I recently found out that Gitlab has a handbook, and there’s a lot of good stuff there, if you’re looking for inspiration of ideas to borrow for processes for your teams, looks no further.
- Regex Crossword, do you like regex? Then, don’t click on that link if you want to be productive.
For you
- If you’ve read the whole thing, tell me how you’re spending this summer (if you’re from this hemisphere) by replying to this e-mail.
Cheers,
Gil
