Hi,
No Generate tomorrow (January 6). Sorry.
The plan was to have a live violin concert by Cortland followed by an abbreviated Generate discussion, but currently too many people away, isolating, or uncomfy, so we’re canceling.
However! Cortland has confirmed things look
good to go for that same concert
February 3 at Lynn’s place, and I’m committed to making it happen. Hopefully with a livestream for those who can't or don't want to come corporeally.
Also by then I should have a couple hundred COVID rapid tests I just ordered from a medical supply company.
Hoping to test out a new test-before-partying model at a few concerts & events next week, wish me luck!
We've failed at Medicare For All, but maybe I can at least do Medicare for Generate.
Looking for something to do instead at 7pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022?
The world’s greatest anarchy-flavored film-elitist 20-seat movie theater in a former Williamsburg bodega is
taking over an internet radio station at 7pm.
Or
go there in person for some obscure film about grunge France 7:30pm and some other obscure film about horror France at 10pm.
Or, watch Poster House curator & friend Angelina Lippert battle an advertising poster auctionman over who drew the best maps, LIVE ON ZOOM: https://avenues.zoom.us/j/2126270767
Or come to
Wonderville where I'll probably be, checking in all all these things from my laptop while drinking Elbow Patches stout in an empty bar.
Cheers,
Jacob
