Hey y'all,

Back in January, we piled into a living room and threw a ton of big dreams onto a post-board: Launch Olamina. Produce a new Actual Play. Start an interview series. Build a newsletter. Connect with our larger community. Chase down some grant funding. It was a lot.

We settled on a theme for the season: Scrappy Experimentation. We knew we probably wouldn't get to all of it, but we decided to try our best and ask for help where we needed it.

As of this past weekend, we've finished out the season. Here's what we accomplished:

• We co-hosted our first 24-hr immersive jam, which validated our "create together" model and was a dope proof of concept for our brand of serialized storytelling.
• We did our first micro-grant, helping a local poet (Lindo!) bring his work into Philly schools.
• We connected with our first funding partner, Caribbean Community of Philadelphia, who funded our full summer run of Olamina.
• We applied for seven grants, and we won our first major one. And a few more are still in flight!

• We put on three Olamina circles, growing the crowd and reach each time and bringing new musicians into the Futurefull family.
• We connected with community orgs across Philly and beyond, LARP societies, immersive collectives, poetry nights, and honestly a lot of them are excited to see what we do next.
• We put up our first real social media presence, and we're building an audience and community for real now.

• We launched Veilpiercers, one of the most-viewed Actual Plays on the RoleD5 Channel, which gave us a new piece of IP and introduced a whole new gang of creators who we're excited to work with.

I'd say that's a f@%^ing successful season!

What's next: looking forward to what's hitting this fall, we're ready for a theme change. We aren't dropping Scrappy Experimentation, that's here to stay. But y'all are excited to see what we create, and excited to create with us, so we gotta honor that.

Our next theme is going to be Creating in Community. That feels like the beating heart of Futurefull to me: creating a space for people to build better futures, and the roads we take to get there.
