Fusion Fragment Newsletter: February 2026
Hello there FF readers! Lots of big news to share, first and foremost that this will be the final installment of the FF newsletter. If you want to stay up-to-date on all things FF, we continue to be most active on Bluesky and Instagram, and we also plan to start posting more often to our free-tier membership over on Patreon.
FF#26 & Saros #4 Dual Release
In case you missed it, FF#26 and Saros #4 were released as a dual download package back in October.

2026 FF Lineup
We also finalized our roster of stories for FF’s three issues slated for this year. Look at all these great pieces on the way:

Reading Period Updates
Since we’re fully stocked on stories through 2026 (and almost have our February 2027 issue filled as well) we’re going to close the submission gates at end of day on February 28th. We’ll re-open on July 1st, so mark your calendars!
Stay tuned for a reading period announcement for Saros #6 soon!
FF#1 Relaunch
We re-released FF#1 with a brand new cover and updated formatting for a better reading experience (especially for those of you on e-readers), and a much reduced price point for print copies. We plan to continue updating our older issues throughout the year.
Awards Reading List
It’s that time of year again: Award nominations are now open! Check out the FF and Saros eligibility lists. If you’re looking for a more wide-ranging reading list to kickstart your search for your favourite stories (and more!) of 2025, I’ve prepared a list of all the 2025 works by FFers, regardless of where they were published, that have been named as “recommended” stories in various venues or appeared on awards longlists.
