When I went to pick up this film from the lab, they commiserated with me about my failed roll of mistakes. I thought I’d taken the best photos of my life, and yet there were feet protruding out of tree barks, faces creepily overlayed onto rocks, phone lines ruining peaceful clear skies. I was absolutely gutted and embarrassed really. I salvaged a few and then abandoned the rest thinking they would never see the light of day.

Somehow they've grown on me over the years.
