Arranger launches on July 25th! (Plus a li'l tour diary)

Hello, dear subscribers!

We announced a release date for our video game!
Here’s our brand-new trailer:

And our Day of the Devs showcase segment in which we explain the gameplay a bit more:

It’s all feeling very real!

The game is done, we’re just going through some final nips and tucks (patches + QA), but it’s a real weight off our spiders (that joke will make more sense when you play the game). We have more work left to do to actually ship it, but it’s a different kind of work, which is a welcome change of pace.

Anyways, apologies for not sending this newsletter out sooner - we had a lot of work and plans to line up for the announcement, and then did a small “tour” with it, as our core team met up in Los Angeles to show the game at Summer Games Fest, then flew to New York City together to rep it at the Tribeca festival.

Here’s a little tour diary:

A view of the Summer Games Fest HQ room, with Arranger shown on a big TV
Our setup in the Day of the Devs section of SGF - the first game you saw when you walked in the room!
David Hellman demoing the game at SGF on a big, vivid TV
David checking out the game. The colors looked kind of insane and psychedelic on the TV there, surrounded by darkness - but also beautiful!
Three people playing Arranger on mobile devices in an Arranger-branded part of the Netflix tent at SGF
We also had a station over in the very quiet and comfortable (and oddly camping-themed) Netflix tent, which could accommodate multiple players. This is someone with a press appointment, plus two drop-ins!
Our four-person core dev team posing on a plane
In transit from LA → NYC - adjacent aisle seats is the way to go!
A spacious room at Pier 57 in NYC, in which someone is playing Arranger on a big TV
We a nice, chill station amongst the Tribeca festival selections at Pier 57! It was fun to see the game played “in the wild,” and we got to meet some other lovely devs and play their games, too.
Our core dev team of four eating bagels on the streets of Manhattan, smiling for the camera
A bittersweet (yet delicious) goodbye bagel on our last morning together!

Thanks so much for supporting us. If you haven’t wish listed the game yet on your platform of choice, that helps a ton, as does telling a friend or saying something on social media. Oh speaking of which, Nia from Popagenda made us a TikTok! So that’s a thing, if you want to follow us over there!

Talk soon, and keep in touch!
