We're fully funded 🎉 + help us share our campaign and website 🙏
Dear FujoCoded subscribers,
Thank you for being the early adopters of this newsletter! As you might know, our campaign is now at its midway point ⏰ and fully funded 🎉! If you've already supported us, thank you! If you haven't yet, no time like the present!
Quick request: help us share our campaign and website 🙏
Broadening our network is an important aspect of initiatives like this one, and expanding our reach beyond the direct fandom public is necessary to eventually achieve sustainability. Even just sharing our website with a few potential supporters can make a huge difference!
Here’s some suggestions:
Friends who feel sad about the current state of the web (who doesn’t?)
Coding or technology groups you’re a part of
Any group interested in enabling more queer, kinky, neurodivergent and disabled folks to shape the web of the future
Workplace ERG groups or mailing lists dedicated to any of the groups listed above.
To help you help us share our project, we’ve created a packet you can copy/paste a targeted message from. Feel free to use it as is or take inspiration from our wording. A few added words on why the project matters to you are also helpful.
Our stretch goals
Here's an helpful graphic with the campaign goals beyond our first milestone:

As you can see, our goals are a mixture of fun extra merchandise and a few targeted articles to cover knowledge gaps that disproportionately impact fannish developers. We’ve seen the difference that the right information from a trusted source speaking directly to your needs can make, and would love your help making these reality!
At the topmost level, we’ve also included an article on one of the soft skills we’ve found our collaborators most benefit from: some targeted advice on how to hold each other accountable with (effective) kindness, building on the excellent (but long) book “Crucial Confrontations”.
Obviously these stretch goals aren’t just about delivering articles: they also help us with ongoing costs and serve as a training ground for the future. By having a budget to spend, we hope to be able to hire an employment lawyer to help us draft contracts for fannish writers and to hire from our network to deliver this content. By outsourcing the creation of these first articles, we want to create a positive loop that makes long-term content creation sustainable, and enriches both our own community and the public—this is, ultimately, what FujoCoded is all about!
Help us go even further by helping us share the campaign or (if you haven't yet) backing it today!

Thank you so much for your support,
The FujoCoded LLC Team
