Last Day of March
An update
Hello all!
It’s. been a while since my last post. I’m writing this on a sunny March 31st. I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine and the sound of woodpeckers.
I finished my work with Teach Your Monster last summer, and I had a much needed sabbatical. Since the new year, I’ve been starting personal projects and not finishing them, which is a bad habit to get into, but I figure it’s all just part of the process of rebuilding my creative life.
What I HAVE managed to do is quit (most of) social media and rebuild my portfolio website. I will post new (and old) work to sirtimf.com on a regular basis. I’ve also set up a little shop where you can buy a print. It’s been nice to have a break, but now I really must start earning some money. I’ll be making some t-shirts too, so watch this space.
On a housekeeping note, I set up this Substack newsletter as a possible replacement web site or portfolio. On reflection, I dislike the constant pressure to set up paid newsletters (I have zero interest in making one), and the way that Substack is morphing into yet another social media platform. I know it’s how the world works these days, I just prefer a simple life. So, I’ll be leaving Substack soon, but I will be transferring members of this newsletter (that’s you) to a mailing list. If you don’t want that, then unsubscribe by the end of April 2025 and I’ll make sure you’re not on whatever mailing list service I choose. Just to confirm: I never have, and I never will share your email address to third parties. You can unsubscribe any time.
Right, I’m off into the sunlight.
Tim
