Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter (now called "Frostomatic News"). I have been true to my word and have moved away from Substack. I'm now using Wordpress Buttondown to look after my mailing list. If you would like to no longer receive my news, please feel free to unsubscribe. If you have trouble doing that, then please contact me and I'll remove you from my mailing list manually.

I had a strange 2025 (didn't we all?). It was full of good ideas and unfinished projects. I had plenty of creative itches to scratch. I'm back on client work for the time being, but I am also working on one or two personal game projects. Looking forward, I'm going to keep my 'almost never' newsletter publishing cycle and keep it for when I have something finished to show. I'll also send out an occasional art dump (see the end of this letter for some of my recent doodles, and try to work out what on earth I was working on).

Why leave Substack? Mainly because I have no intention in charging people to read my news, and I don't trust a VC backed company to play nice with non-monetised newsletters.
