The State Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement following reports that several mayors and public officials were arrested. While the office is following the situation, the political focus has shifted to the border: Lutfi Haziri has declared his opposition to Serbia holding elections inside Kosovo territory.
The Assembly has convened to determine the agenda for the next session. Outside the capital, the courts have been busy with a month of detention ordered for two men found with 53kg of marijuana in Gjilan and another man accused of an 8,000 euro robbery in Gjakova.
Cultural diplomacy provided a brief distraction as the Kosovo Philharmonic performed at a Polish cultural center. The program featured works from two countries, a modest expansion of the repertoire while the assembly debates the more pressing details of the domestic calendar.
