Audra's Mother's Day Gift Guide

From: Audra

Audra’s Mother's Day Gift Guide

I'm not exactly a sucker for gift guides, but there have been several times that I've blanked when my husband asked me what I wanted for an occasion. I often tell myself, "Don't forget to put this on your wish list..." But, of course, I forget. That’s when I turn to gift guides.

The problem is that I often get the impression that the bloggers who publish gift guides haven’t actually used most of the products that they are recommending. This gift guide isn't like that. The items here are items I actually own and use. And they are all items that I have received as gifts before! I recommend each of these items for your Mother’s Day wish list.

Natori Shangri-la Robe

I have never been able to really love a robe. They always felt so puffy with sleeves that prevented me from doing normal morning activities. (It's impossible to wash dishes while wearing most robes.) Not this robe. Unlike the fuzzy robes from my past, I actually think this robe makes me look (and for sure feel) slimmer. It is lightweight enough for summer, but surprisingly warm in winter. It has kimono sleeves (perfect!). Basically, it’s my favorite robe ever. I have it in black. The sizing chart is accurate.

Windchimes

Last year I asked for wind chimes for Mother's Day. I have always loved the sound of wind chimes, but they were never something I would buy for myself. But now I have chimes chiming on our back patio above our small fountain. The sound is delightful. They are bright and beautiful without sounding harsh. They sound like something you'd find at a spa. Recommended for your garden this spring.

Kindle

I've talked before about how I've changed my mind from loving hard copy books to falling hard for my Kindle. A Kindle was one of my favorite gifts from 2020.

Dainty Diamond Necklace

This necklace was a gift for Christmas a few years ago. It has (what I consider to be) the perfect chain length and is great for everyday wear (or on a date night). Delicate, yet beautiful.

Wine Glasses

Moms need quality wine glasses, and these are my favorite. Perfect for white or red, or the occasional Aperol Spritz. An upgrade from your my wedding registry.

Monogrammed Mug

I have so many coffee mugs, but this one is my favorite. It's not oversized and I have found the handle to be comfortable to hold. Little pleasures, you know?

Aria Diffuser

The Aria is hands down my favorite diffuser. Besides looking very classy with it's glass top and wooden base, it has amazing output. The Aria can cover most of the first floor of my home. It also comes with a remote control to change settings like the color underneath the glass. My kids like to keep it festive with seasonal colors (pink for Valentine's Day, orange for October, etc.)

Thanks for reading! What would you put on your Mother's Day Gift Guide list? I would love to hear so I can compile mine for this year! Just hit reply if you'd like to respond. (When you hit reply, your message goes directly to my email. It’s a private conversation between just us.) I read all your messages and try to respond, but not always in a timely manner. Sorry! And if you saw something you loved in this gift guide, just forward it on to your husband/kids to drop a not-so-subtle hint. I know my husband always appreciates having a list.
