I tend to trust recipes more if they come from a friend rather than a random recommendation from @SusiesKitchen1973 on the internet.
If you’re the same, then you are in luck! This week I’m sharing a few recipes that have been a big hit around here lately (and that’s saying something when it comes to getting six people to agree on anything these days).
My friend Gena shared a picture of these rolls on Facebook the night before Thanksgiving and I immediately scrapped my original plan for bread and made these for Thanksgiving dinner instead. Generally I don’t do that for a big dinner, but these rolls looked amazing. Follow the recipe exactly and you (and your family) won’t be disappointed! Grab the recipe here.
We first discovered Chicken Tikka Masala at my sister’s recommendation (they love it so much they affectionately call it “CTM”). Whenever we make CTM (and by “we” I mean my husband Caleb), every single member of the family enjoys it. We recently tried a new recipe for CTM and it was a big hit. We give it five stars! I’ve shared a version of this recipe before, but this is a fun recipe to remix for St. Patrick’s Day. Instead of adding spooky eyes, add Lucky Charms! It’s a fun little after school treat for Thursday that doesn’t take too much time, doesn’t make a mess, and has basic supplies you can order with Target Pick-Up and grab on your way home from school. Be careful though: it’s a dangerously perfect blend of sweet and salty. Once you make it you will find yourself coming back to sneak a bite again and again. Grab the recipe here.
I use Thieves Cleaner on literally every surface of my home. One bottle lasts me about 6 months and comes in under $23. It’s pretty rare to see me using the same cleaner for seven years, but Thieves Household Cleaner has simplified cleaning because I don’t have to buy different cleaners for mirrors, counters, toilets, showers, etc. I can just use the same cleaner (with ingredients I’m confident in). It’s safe to say I’ve found a keeper!
I had tried other green/clean brands like 7th Generation and Mrs. Meyers, but the added fragrance always left me feeling kind of gross. Also, after doing a little digging I was fairly certain they weren’t as safe as they claimed.
Thieves Household Cleaner is one, concentrated cleaner suitable for every surface of your home. All you have to do is get a few spray bottles to mix water with Thieves Household Cleaner. For a fresh spring scent, I add 12 drops of Lushious Lemon to my diluted bottle of Thieves Cleaner. As my kids say, it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy to make!
Here’s a little recipe sheet with some of my most used Thieves Cleaner dilution rates. If you need spray bottles, these are some good ones.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this month! We were back at the beach on Friday. Besides boogie boarding, the kids found several sand dollars and we spotted dolphins!
Thanks for reading! Do you have a favorite recipe that you’ve discovered recently? I’d love to hear about it–just hit reply if you’d like to share. I read all your messages and try to respond, but not always in a timely manner. Sorry! And if you enjoyed this email, you’d be doing me a favor by forwarding it to someone else who might like it.
