This Friday's bookclub

Dearest Friends,

You are kindly invited to the next Book Club meeting this Friday, September 3rd at 8pm Paris time, 2 pm New York time. (Bernard will host).

We enjoy each others’ presence and welcome newcomers warmly. We start off by sharing our thoughts and reactions to a quote provided. Then we allow whatever comes up to come up.

This week's quote is by Peter Brown :

« Experience appears to be what the degree of sensitivity and clear understanding of the perceiver allows.

As examples, it can seem to be dull, objective, limited and limiting, dangerous, material, existing entirely separately from the observer; or can be felt as alive, meaningful, interconnected and supportive; or can be seen to be nothing whatever but the divine shining forth of transcendental light of pure consciousness, bliss, and intelligence. »
