March Hangout Schedule: A bit of soul searching, and now two sessions on Sunday
Dearest friends
We have solved the Sunday dilemma, where we alternate between mornings and afternoons European time. We are going to do both! We have more people attending the hangouts, so we’ll do more hangouts.
With the increased numbers on the hangouts, and lots of new people, we have been doing some soul-searching about what is the nature of the hangouts, and what do we want to achieve? The consensus seems to be that hangouts are a place where we can relax with our friends. In this case these are our special friends, ones who are familiar with Rupert Teachings. We therefore, in the hangout, don’t need to explain ourselves to others. But our views are not ignored. We are allowed to be open and curious. We are respected and listened to. We are in service to each other. Importantly, we are peers: there are no students, no teachers, no preachers. Just awareness in its various forms enjoying itself. It turns out that this is a lot of fun.
We do have hosts, whose job is to welcome people into the session, and welcome people into the group, just like you would invite people into your own house. And like a good host, they make sure people are included and heard.
Like a good party, things just seem to flow. We have no agenda, we just see what turns up.

Hangouts are held every week on Wednesdays at 8pm New York time, Bookclub on Fridays at 8pm Paris time/2pm New York time, and now hangouts are on Sundays at 10am Paris time and 8pm Paris time/2pm New York time.
