Friday's Bookclub
Dearest Friends,
We hope you join us for the next Book Club meeting this Friday, July 16th at 8pm Paris time, 2 pm New York time. (Bernard will host).
We enjoy each others’ presence and welcome newcomers warmly. We start off by sharing our thoughts and reactions to a quote provided. Then we allow whatever comes up to come up.
This week we’ll look at the following quote from Jean Klein (“Who Am I - The Sacred Quest”)
“Q. Is not what you call divine play also becoming?”
«A. Divine play comes out of perfection. There is nothing to perfect, so strictly speaking it is not becoming because it never leaves wholeness. There is always presence. It is life playing with itself, expression for the joy of expressing. There is no agent. But in the becoming that we mostly know, presence is veiled. You have identified with the expression and not its source. You have made illusory what is fundamentally real. But there is nothing to try to change or give up. All you must do is identify with the source of the world, and not its playthings, the world of so-called objects.»
