Book Club: Friday March 11th, 8 pm Paris Time, 2 pm New York time

Dearest Friends,

The next Book Club meeting is this Friday, March 11th : 8pm Paris time, 2 pm New York time. Lisa will host.

This week we will consider the following quote from Life Never Dies, by Roy Melvyn:

“In this relative world, you are what events happen to. Even when

nothing is happening, it happens to you. In the absolute sense, you

are why events happen. Even when nothing is happening, you are

why nothing happens.

Named forms are the ever changing expressions of Oneness and are

not things apart from it. This is non-duality in a single sentence.

What is death? The named form and its behaviors are no longer.

That's the extent of it. When the relative is over, the Absolute

remains.

All of the animate and inanimate creation is only Me.

Different names are assigned only for referential convenience.

That which animates the body is a power that transcends the sense of

individuality. Begin by discriminating between yourself and a

corpse. What is it that makes the former more than the latter?”
