Hello Friends!
It’s been a prolific writing month for me. I streamlined my tools and processes, thanks Claude, and now I don’t have any speedbumps to give me any excuses I suppose!
Introducing gg
I’ve got far too many Github Orgs (23) and Repositories (453) I have some level of relationship with. It’s a silly problem, but finding the right repo and going to the code, issues or actions was a little speedbump for me. That and I’ve been itching to write some more Rust led me to build gg a CLI and TUI that makes it super quick to get where I need to be.

Fuzzy matching and automatically opening my browser where I want to be is already making me happy. Not having to dig around in Github Actions to find my action has been really nice.

How much magic is TOO much magic?
Something Joie Burchell said during a recent TalkPython episode made me think about hiding vs helping newcomers not just to Python but to tech topics in general.

I also learned about this useful feature in Github Flavored Markdown that I apparently have missed for a few years now.

I get a lot of random questions across all sorts of media and sites and I figured I should build something where I can reply on my own site. These are not quite blog posts and not TILs so I built a Q&A section for my site.
