I’M A BUSINESS BOY AGAIN
I started a new job at Ramp a couple weeks ago. I’m working on their internal Design System & Component Library and it’s a really neat company. I’m very excited & proud.

SPARE TROUSERS
During my months of unemployment, I achieved greatness in a game called Balatro. Balatro is incredible and it’s on mobile, now. You should go play it. It’s a poker puzzle arcade kinda game. Go play it.

I FINALLY HAVE PROOF I WAS ON TV
In January of 2013 I made a brief appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They flew me out to be on the show after they saw a video that went a lil viral in 2012. Unfortunately, the YouTube clip of the crowd segment I was on was taken down when Leno left the show.
After years of having no copy of the video, my friends Ryan & Mike found it. They dug it up from the deepest edges of the internet and surprised me with it. It’s legitimately one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. Thank you. <3

WE’RE ON TAG № 5
Since April 2024, my dear friend Joe (of joesbirds.com) and I have been playing a game. The rules are simple: write a note on a door hanger and leave it at each other’s house. No driving is allowed. You have one week to return the tag.

The Gone-Away World by Nick Harkaway. I loved this book. Crazy world, crazy writing style, crazy twists. Post-apocalyptic. Mad Max. Ninjas. Themes of losing humanity in the momentum of capitalist systems. Verdict: Read it. Please.
A Scanner Darkly. Movie. Keanu Reeves. Winona Ryder. RDJ. Crazy rotoscoping animation style. I have no idea what happened in this movie. Verdict: Cool cerebral watch if you are maybe a lil high and don’t mind being confused…
Quiz Lady. Movie. Hulu. Easy-to-watch movie about estranged sisters competing in a game show to earn money to fix their mother’s debts. Silly. Good cameos. Verdict: fun movie for date nights or when you have low focus.
