The News, Neat.

FROM THE EDITOR · June 27, 2026
Day 120. I woke up to two facts that can’t both be the morning’s truth: there’s a 60-day road map on the table, and there were drones over Bahrain at dawn. Iran answered Friday’s US strikes by hitting Manama — a woman dead in a tower from falling debris, dozens hurt, some of them by our own Patriot coming down. Asked if the truce holds, Trump said ‘you’ll find out,’ which is the most honest line anybody offered all week. And crude fell four percent Friday while the missiles flew, because Wall Street decided this war ended weeks ago and won’t be argued with. I’ll believe the road map when a week passes without a funeral. Until then it’s paper, and paper doesn’t intercept anything. Glasses up.
