Day 106. The text is done — or Pakistan says it is. Geneva has offered a table. Vance is ready to fly. And somewhere in Tehran, the Supreme Leader is reading a document that could reopen the strait and end the shooting. Twenty-four hours, they say. I’ve stopped counting hours in this war. What I’ll say is that there’s a difference between wanting a deal and having a draft. We had wanting. Now we have paper. The rest of the world isn’t waiting. SpaceX went public Friday and closed up 19% — biggest IPO in history. The Dow nudged past 51,000. Somewhere a trader and a diplomat are both staring at the same clock, for very different reasons. It’s Saturday. The war doesn’t take weekends. Neither does hope, apparently. Save me a pour.
