Friday · May 29, 2026 · Day 91
From the Editor
Day 91. The MOU is sitting in Doha and Trump is “not satisfied.” Vance says his signature is “TBD” — three letters doing a lot of work. I keep refreshing the wire and the deal stays just out of reach: a couple of language points, a couple of red lines, a couple of strikes overnight that probably moved a couple of words on a couple of pages. Meanwhile the Pentagon hosts Lebanon round four today, Bessent is squeezing Iran’s airlines down to the refueling, and Brent won’t sit still under $96. The strait is still half-blockaded; tens of thousands of seafarers still can’t go home. I started this site because the receipts matter. Ninety-one days in, they still do. Stay close.
