Derivative. "La Puerta Plegable Pt. II", by N. Toyohito
(CW: Horror, monsters)
A month ago I put out a post announcing a derivative work giveaway contest. One person decided to enter, N. Toyohito, who made a futuristic comic about silence and its causes for Issue #6.
For his derivative work, he chose to make a sequel to my comic from Issue #4, "La Puerta Plegable, un susto". He cranked up the horror to 11 and somehow managed to draw a likeness of myself when I was a teenager without ever laying eyes on me, which is odd but works out!
Here is the comic, licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0. Thank you, N., for participating and creating derivatives! It's one of the best ways to keep Free-Culture alive. :) This comic will be added to a future issue of the zine, and the artist will be compensated for its inclusion. Enjoy!
If you like Free-Culture and comics and stuff, please consider supporting this project with either a one-time or a monthly donation. I am raising funds to increase the amount I can pay artists for next year's zines, so please consider checking out the Patreon, Ko-Fi and Liberapay.
If you can't or don't want to donate right now, that's alright! Please share these comics with people you know, and create derivative works, if that is your jam!
Thanks for reading, creating and supporting Free-Culture.
