Letters from Flora, interrupted
Hello darlings!
Valentine's day is coming up, bathe me in roses?I'm writing to you from a brand new newsletter provider! I was banned from my last newsletter for mysterious reasons which is quite annoying! Moving on....
I recently heard someone call the pandemic the "pan-damnit", which sums things up very nicely! I canceled more appointments the first week on January that I have in my entire provider career. The break from the hustle and bustle has been really good for me, once I managed my disappointment about canceled plans. I had space to recover from my booster shot, start working on my garden after the rains (January is a really important month for gardeners in the Bay), and spend some time getting my life organized.
Before I get to the fun news, I have some bad news. I've decided to postpone my March East Coast trip until further notice. As much as I am dying to see family, friends and lovers (old and new) it's too risky a proposition with omicron. Instead I'm going to be taking a car trip to the PNW, tentatively scheduled March 9-17. I'll spend the first part in Portland shooting content with a close friend who is joining my industry, then a few days in Seattle where I will be offering duos with Ivy Rose who has been a long time twitter crush! I'll expand more in later newsletters but I think our energies are very synergistic and we are going to melt some brains.
Ugh, she's my decadent dream come true.In local news my friend Adrienne is coming to town for a few days, Feb 6-9. If you've been wanting to get both of us in the same room now is your chance! We are close friends and creative collaborators, so we have a vibrant creative energy and we'd love to turn it on you :) and you can take inspiration from our decadent photos!
It feels good to share these photos we took last February!Thank you as always for your support, kind works and love during these difficult times! While I'm disappointed at losing my old newsletter platform I'm grateful I have the drive to keep creating and sharing
