I would love to share an indulgent meal at Gusto Green! I stumbled upon this restaurant last time I was in LA and it blew my mind! Maybe I already mentioned it?? Did you know that it’s also part of a cannabis start up? They also have lots of gluten free options, win win! I will graciously accept gift cards here if you want to treat me ;) I'm currently thinking about their coconut pie!
I also *LOVE visiting historic public markets, somehow I didn’t realize LA has one at Grand Central Market!! I loved the Reading Terminal Market in Philly & Pikes Place in Seattle, and am excited to compare! Just looking at the website I love all the neon and I'm particularly excited about the cheese monger and the papusa spot is catching my eye.
Some of you may know that in a former life I did costume design. I have been visiting LA Fashion District for buying trips since 2003 & was always fascinated by the sheer quantity of flowers at the flower market, but never indulged as I was there mainly to purchase fabric and trims. My life has shifted a bit since those days, and now I go to peruse the flowers. I love to see what’s seasonal! I always like to get myself flowers for my hotel room and I am excited to see what I end up with. Maybe we could walk around there together?
Speaking of costumes, another thing I’m up to right now is preparing for Halloween. I go all out on finding the best halloween decor for the trick or treaters! I know fall is the last thing on people’s minds but now is the time for prep! I added some silly things to my wishlist if you want to take a peek and send me something ridiculous!
