90 hours of training & fun little videos
A year-long Masterclass π 4 cozy shows this week
Hey there,
The nostalgic part of me can sometimes make me sad about small things. Like just now. When I realized: oh! This week we will have the last Flock shows in this form. π₯²
Sure, we still have the (impressive) shows for the Flock Festival. But after that, everything changes.
Good changes! (And I will write to you later about who will be the faces of the Flock Revamp) But changes nonetheless.
I hope to see you Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun, for the last shows in the old style.
We can be nostalgic together π (while having a really good time)
Masterclass Unscripted Theatre

Gael is launching something special (also for internationals): a year-long Masterclass for a small group of ambitious improvisers.
ποΈ 9 full weekends from September to June
π 90 hours of training in unscripted theatre
β¨ Performances, personal feedback, and cozy lunches
π All in the Flock Theatre Studio in Amsterdam Noord
This Masterclass by Flock founder Gael Doorneweerd-Perry is designed for experienced improvisers who want to dive deep into scene work, narrative skills, character development, and theatrical improv.
For those who are ready to be challenged! πͺ
A consistent group, plenty of stage time, and space to grow your own style of theatrical improv.
π‘ The weekends are scheduled to be accessible for both local players from the Netherlands and those traveling from further away (Europe, and beyond!).
π Applications are now open and will be accepted until May 18. Read all the information here.
Fun little videos (related to our upcoming shows)
This week, we have 4 shows in a row. Come see one (or more!) shows in our cozy theatre.
Thursday: What Impro
Our popular and wildly experimental improv show. Tickets are β¬ 10
Fun little video: last What Impro, where I surprised the players with a face painter.

Friday: Histoires dβun Soir
A show in French with some incredible, and kind of famous Swiss actors.
Fun little video: a sketch from comedian Blaise Bersinger (very funny, also if you donβt speak French)
Saturday: For One Night Only.
The previously mentioned famous Swiss comedians Blaise and Donatienne perform an English-speaking show with Flockβs team.
Fun little video: Donatienne in an interview (opening with a trick!)
Sunday: Flock & Friends community night
Two shows and a fun hangout. With guest group The Villagers (Jochem Meijer, Peter More, Roos Slingerland). Tickets are β¬ 10
Fun little video: here is how cozy our community nights look.

P.S.
The Flock Festival will not return in 2026. We are pouring all our inspiration and love into this one. Maybe time to clear out your calendar and join the workshops, shows and festival fun? βοΈ
