Less than a month (!) and the Flock Festival will be there.
And while I am elbow deep in festival tasks (emailing partners, making a photographer planning, recovering from a subsidy rejection, postering the town, etc.)

Our beautiful accommodation has only 1 bed left. So if you are a woman, and you want to come for a week, a midweek, or a weekend, this is your chance!

🚲 Discount on bike rental
Getting around by bike is the easiest (and nicest) way to move between the festival area and your accommodation: especially if you’re staying at Amsterdam Farm Lodge, which is a 45-minute walk from the venue.
We’ve partnered again with Frederic, a lovely one-man rental company in Amsterdam. He can deliver your bike directly to the Farm Lodge, so no pickup or return hassle. Just mention it in the comments in the booking form.

🤓 Festival Nerds | 1-day workshop | Flock Festival
This workshop is the perfect way to close the Flock Festival. A way to get the highlights of the workshops you missed: in discussion and in play time.
Festival Nerds is not a typical performing improv workshop, but more like an improv-infused ginger shot. It is an inspirational facilitated session that allows us to harvest and build collective wisdom.
You will learn through thinking and through doing.
The session will be led by an inspiring teacher herself: Kim Thanh. Bring the notes you took, the questions you have, and your sharing spirit to this collective learning session.
Sunday June 29 — 10:00 to 16:00 (1h lunch break)

🪑 Coming solo? We’ve got you.
If you're thinking of coming to the Flock Festival on your own: you're not the only one. And you’re more than welcome. We’ve made sure there are plenty of ways to connect, join in, lend a hand, or take a quiet moment for yourself.
Right next to the theatre, you’ll find the Bird House: a cozy lounge to meet other improvisers, play a game, or grab a coffee. We have space for sitting, reading, knitting, drawing (with inspiration from our festival illustrator Babette), and meeting a new friend.
And after the shows? We love a good hang. Stick around for our post-show afterparties with music, conversation, outside games, and laughter until late.
