Mystery workshop in October!
We are back with our mystery workshops. These are 2-day workshops that we offer at 25% off the price (or 30-40% if you’re a member). The only thing you need to do for that discount is… Trust us.
We always invite teachers we think are very inspiring. So if you are up for a pleasant surprise, you have until this Friday to sign up for:

Characters Intensive in September
For September, we invited inspiring improv teacher Anton Romanus. He is former AD of successful Swedish improv company GBGimpro and he will teach his 2-day workshop ‘Making It Real’.
This workshop will focus on playing grounded, multilayered and specific characters.
It’s all about improvised acting and how we can challenge ourselves. You will be playing realistic relationships, with conflicts and tension, how to use silence in scenes and holding on to our characters perspective.

Many changes at Flock
I thought you might like to get an little update on Flock Theatre as well. Last April, we announced the Flock Theatre revamp? Well, after a round of applications, conversations, and a challenging selection process, we invited 16 people into the company.
Yes, that many.
Another big change is that we will start performing weekly shows for the entire next season. Weekly!
Yes, that is also: many.
We are excited to take this leap (and only a little nervous 😨).
Starting 18 September, we are performing every Thursdays 19:30 in our cozy theatre.
If you book a weekend, you can always come one evening earlier to see one.

Considering coming to Amsterdam for a weekend (yessss)? Here are some of our tips for accommodation:
Ask around for friends in Amsterdam if they can host you.
Or buddy up with some improv friends, and book Amsterdam Farm Lodge, our festival partner.
For solo bookings, we heard good things about ho(s)tels ClinkNoord, Yotel, Poppies, and iHotel. Also at cycling distance are Y Hotel or Bunk Hotel. Super nearby and super fancy is DoubleTree Hotel.
Come with your tent/campervan to campsite Vliegenbos.
